This year CLTC celebrates 10 years of working collaboratively with colleagues and affiliates to achieve energy-efficiency goals and produce next-generation lighting and daylighting solutions.
CLTC was established in 2003 as part of UC Davis with support from the California Energy Commission, the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. Its purpose was to bring people together from different corners of the lighting and energy sectors to solve problems more quickly, achieve common goals, and shorten the distance from lab to market for promising ideas and products. Today our network of project partners, both public and private, is larger and stronger than ever.
