Personal Lighting System Gaining Momentum

In the latest issue of LD+A (Lighting Design + Application) Erik Page and Kevin Gauna co-wrote an article in conjunction with Finelite highlighting the Personal Lighting System (PLS). The PLS was developed with funding from the California Energy Commission’s PIER Program and in partnership with Finelite.

The Personal Lighting System consists of a family of adjustable desk lamps and under-cabinet lights connected to a single power module controlled by an occupancy sensor. The system has been demonstrated at numerous sites and is available for purchase from Finelite.

To learn more about the project and technology, view the project brochure .
