Students in Daylighting Course
 
CLTC's staff and faculty is committed to education and advances in energy efficient lighting. Classes and seminars are conducted throughout the year to students and professionals. CLTC also works to build professional resources and maintain connections between research and industry manufacturers.
 

Undergraduate Courses

CLTC offers undergraduate lighting courses through the University of California, Davis. The courses are held on site and are taught by CLTC faculty and staff. A hands-on approach with lighting and daylighting technologies is used, and includes lectures, demonstrations, and site visits.
 

Professional Courses

CLTC offers educational and professional resources directed to architects, designers, and those involved with building operation and specification processes. Professional courses focusing on both Daylighting and Interior Lighting have been offered through CLTC.Valuable resources, such as the Title 24 Residential Lighting Design Guide, are in development and available through CLTC.
 

The Lighting Portal

The Lighting Portal is your online resource for current lighting research activities and information. It includes current activities, research, design, codes, issues and challenges, as well as new technologies in the lighting and daylighting industry. The site is not limited to these topics. It will evolve and expand through current research and contributions from its members.
