CLTC has worked with many homebuilders and has knowledge from research on several residential lighting plan reviews. One such project was with Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC).

FSEC partnered with CLTC to relight their Manufactured Housing Laboratory (MH Lab) and developed a lighting plan for Divosta Homes' model home.

• The Manufactured Housing Laboratory (MH Lab) is a 1600 square foot ENERGY STAR® manufactured home that serves as a training center and building science laboratory for the Florida Solar Energy Center. The MH Lab has state of the art heating and cooling systems. FSEC partnered with CLTC to add the latest in efficient lighting to their showcase home. CLTC also worked with Divosta Homes, a Florida based homebuilder to light their model home with the latest efficient technologies.

CLTC evaluated the MH Lab lighting plans and made recommendations based on the best energy savings and strived to comply with Title 24.

• A report and specification guide was developed with the newest lighting technologies for both the MH Lab and Divosta Homes properties to ensure energy savings. Some of these recommendations included LEDs, occupancy controls and high quality fluorescent lighting. The guide includes alternative lighting solutions, general information on the technologies and what to specify to ensure product satisfaction.
