California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC) reviewed and amended Marchbrook Homes’ lighting plans to comply with California’s 2005 Title 24 energy efficiency standards. 

CLTC investigated and identified client cost criteria and any client/manufacturer precincts. Product lines were researched that coincided with the design of the home. CLTC found solutions to comply with the Code and provided options through CAD drawings and product specifications. Alternative lighting design solutions were suggested for various models.

CLTC developed a report and specification guide with the newest lighting technologies and recommendations for Title 24 compliance. Some of these recommendations included occupancy controls and high quality fluorescent lighting. The report included alternative lighting solutions, general information on the technologies and specifications to ensure product satisfaction.
