CLTC consulted with Southern California Edison to promote energy efficient lighting solutions for the signage industry.

  • CLTC's team conducted extensive research in order to prove energy efficient T8 lamps are a better source in current signage applications compared to the less efficient, but widely used T12 fluorescent lamp
  • Aesthetic concerns of “hot spots” were addressed and dispelled with extensive testing of T8 fluorescent lamps
  • CLTC developed tools for SCE to use in further research of energy efficient lamp use in signage applications
