IOLS - Personal Lighting System

The Personal Lighting System has developed through a partnership with Finelite, from the original IOLS project funded by the PIER Program. The personal lighting system consists of a family of adjustable high-quality LED task lights and under-cabinet lights connected to a single power module that is controlled by an occupancy sensor.

Users can specify the appropriate number and size of task lights and/or under cabinet lights for their specific office layout and the nature of their work.

The PLS has an easily configured “systems” approach that delivers the right amount of personal lighting to just the right places in a work area or office. There is a 70% energy savings over current task and under-cabinet light fixtures. Ambient light in the office can be reduced by an additional 35% to 50% when used in tandem with the personal lighting system.

The Personal Lighting System is now available for purchase on the Finelite website.
