CLTC has identified three possible applications for emerging technology demonstrations at Navy sites in San Diego. These applications include, but are not limited to energy efficient highbay fixtures, low ambient lighting in combination with emerging LED/CFL tasking systems, and the Integrated Classroom Lighting System (ICLS).

The Navy is seeking support from San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) to implement and evaluate emerging technologies, as well as existing energy efficient lighting products, in select Navy buildings.  Based on the successful demonstration of these technologies, the Navy would consider adopting these technologies throughout its San Diego area buildings.
