Berkeley Lamp II

The Berkeley Lamp II was developed by Full Spectrum Solutions in partnership with the California Lighting Technology Center at the University of California, Davis, with support from California utilities and funding from the California Energy Commission’s PIER Program, and the U.S. Department of Energy.

The Berkeley Lamp II combines task and ambient lighting all under one shade. The final system will be evaluated based on user acceptance, manufacturing cost and photometric measurements. CLTC will also focus on commercializing for widespread availability, including coordination with the utilities, emerging technology programs and appropriate professional and customer groups.
