Lighting is an art, science and a global business. The International Commission on Illumination (CIE, as its known from its name in French) is the global association for discussion, debate and information sharing on all matters related to light and lighting.
Join us in Davis, California for two days of technical presentations, tours, and business meetings with many of the leading researchers and practitioners in the science and art of light and lighting, as the Canadian and U.S. committees for the CIE meet together. All topics within the CIE portfolio will be discussed, including updates from the Division meetings that took place at the CIE Centenary Conference in Paris last April.
Wednesday evening, November 6 (4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.): The gathering starts with a special invitation to join CLTC at its 10th anniversary celebration reception.
Thursday, November 7 (8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.): Technical Day events will include formal presentations and a tour of the UC Davis campus. The joint technical and business meetings will take place at the UC Davis Conference Center, in Conference Rooms A and B.
