The undergraduate design program at UC Davis offers an introductory lighting design course, DES 136B, and two introductory daylighting courses for interior designers, DES 137A and DES 137B. These are taught at CLTC by the center's directors, who also oversee graduate student research. A graduate course of study for practicing professionals is currently in development. The center's faculty and staff also regularly lead professional development courses, seminars, workshops, and lectures for architects, designers, contractors, specifiers, and other building professionals, with an emphasis on best practices for energy efficiency. In addition, CLTC maintains the curriculum for CALCTP and NALCTP.
