With the support of CLTC and SolarCity, Woodland Unified School District has implemented solar structures at 10 different sites throughout the district, including Woodland High School. Altogether, the solar-paneled structures produce 2,112 kilowatts of energy, enough to offset 68% of the energy use at the school sites where the solar is installed. The four most recently completed sites feature carports with solar paneling and bi-level induction lighting by EverLast Lighting. The “smart” lighting systems are also equipped with motion sensors to maximize their energy efficiency.

CLTC is hosting the ribbon cutting ceremony at Woodland High School to celebrate the school district’s completion of these forward-thinking projects. We hope you will join us.
