Drexel University's endowed Farajollah & Maryam Badie Arfaa Lecture Series, hosted by the Westphal College Department of Architecture, Design & Urbanism, continues its tradition of bringing leading design professionals and scholars of the built environment to campus. Over the past three decades, this prestigious lecture series has engaged the Drexel community and greater Philadelphia audience with presentations that explore contemporary, historic, and theoretical issues in architecture, interior design, and urbanism.
Established in 1992 by Peter F. Arfaa, FAIA, in honor of his parents, the series has featured nearly ninety presentations from renowned speakers around the globe, addressing topics of local, national, and global relevance. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the lecture series, and we are excited to celebrate this milestone with an extraordinary lineup of speakers.
