Professors from the University of California - Davis, University of British Columbia and the National Research Council, Canada have been awarded the 2016 Taylor Technical Talent award for research. The research published in Leukos, the journal of the Illuminating Engineering Society, focuses on the issue of color rendering from both a policy and technical perspective. This research provided input to California’s 2016 Building Energy Efficiency Standards and Appliance Efficiency Regulations.
