Dong Eun Jung is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC). His research focuses on Grid-Interactive Efficient Buildings (GEBs), HVAC optimal control, and thermal diagnosis of building envelopes.

Prior to joining CLTC, Dr. Jung was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER), South Korea’s national laboratory for energy technology. He has authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles in prominent domestic (South Korea) and international journals. He also serves as a scientific reviewer for international journal, including Energy and Building and Environment.

He earned his Ph.D. in Architecture from Korea University, and holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Department of Building and Plant Engineering from Hanbat National University.
