Drew currently leads research projects focused on building control systems, electrification, cybersecurity and daylighting. Recognizing the growing complexity of smart buildings and cybersecurity risks, he developed and manages technical curriculum for the Western Electrical Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Training (WECAT) Program. WECAT expands apprenticeship pathways and equips workers with critical skills for installation and basic commissioning of internet-connected building equipment. Over his eight years at CLTC, Drew has contributed his expertise and supportive leadership towards growing CLTC's research portfolio.
