The International Commission on Illumination (CIE, from its French name) is the global association for discussion, debate and information sharing on all matters related to light and lighting. The Canadian and U.S. committees for the CIE meet in Davis, California this year for two days of technical presentations, tours, and business meetings with many of the leading researchers and practitioners in the science and art of light and lighting.

All topics within the CIE portfolio will be discussed. The program includes presentations by CIE President-Elect Dr. Yoshi Ohno, CIE Treasurer Dr. Lorne Whitehead, and an invited panel of industry leaders, including CLTC's Konstantinos Papamichael and Keith Graeber, sharing their perspectives on the most important issues facing the lighting community.

The gathering starts with a special invitation to join CLTC at its 10th Anniversary Celebration, Wednesday, November 6 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Technical Day events will take place Thursday, November 7, and the CIE Business Day will follow on Friday.
